Bill in Rome

The Rome Film Festival will celebrate Bill Murray with its lifetime achievement award, which will be presented to him by Wes Anderson.

Anderson, who has directed Murray in some of his most iconic roles, most notably in “The Royal Tenenbaums,” and in several other films such as “The Darjeeling Limited,” “Moonrise Kingdom” and “Grand Budapest Hotel,” is also scheduled to take part in an onstage conversation in Rome with Murray about the actor’s career.

The 14th edition of the Rome fest will run Oct. 17-27.

How can we send to Bill our TPF script? Maybe we need an Italian translation, or Groundhog who can speak with an Italian accent....

Bill Murray took part In a recent Q&A with director Jim Jarmusch in Cannes, France. And there he said, 

"I don't recollect much," Murray says. "When somebody asks me 'How'd you meet?' I say I really don't know."

So we are now all free to share our stories about how we first met Bill, and he will never know it is not true...

Bill recorded in Erbil, Iraq reading the script

The newest report we have is from Erbil, Iraq. It seems that Bill Murray is somewhat of a celebrity there.

Here is a statue of him presumably reading the script for "The Puzzle Factory". (Iraqis are not known for creating great likenesses in stone in less than 48 hours) but we have it reported from several sourcs in Russia who also track US elections, that the results are accurate.

Most people think things move slowly in Iraq, but it seems that which is usually slow is fast, so the statue appears to be authentic.

But if you order a pizza with any extras, be prepared to wait a few hours...

The Iraqis it seems, need no 800 number to reach the world's most beloved honarary caddy...

Rumours of a Bill sighting near Jakarta Indonesia

This report just in from Jakarta...

I just saw Bill at the outdoor market in Pasar Induk Jakarta. He was buying ginger and asking where he could rent a monkey who was "gluten free".
